Saved the best for last with our 12,000-square-foot practice green, but the highlight of the practice area is three full practice holes: one par three and two par fours. Not only does this give the player a chance to warm up before a match or a tournament, it gives beginning players, children, and older members a place to play without the inhibitions they’ll feel on the big course.

It’s true. Every shot you’ll face on the course has been recreated here. The Virginian’s practice area features a double-ended range with greens accessible from both ends, giving golfers flagged targets every fifty yards. A practice bunker area for short-to-mid-length bunker shots along with a separate uniform zoysia grass chipping and pitching area, both with flagged target holes in regulation bent grass greens.
